Gorge Yurt Getaway

Enjoy the tranquility of Nature and easy access to the fun of the Columbia River Gorge in our cozy, rustic yurt. Located in the hills outside Mosier, OR, we offer an alternative to camping: Glamping. If you are not excited to experience using an outside john and shower, keeping the wood stove stoked or living among the creatures of the forest, this may not be your style of adventure ;) Check in is 5pm, but open to flexible scheduling if possible. Come enjoy some fresh air and fun in the Gorge!

Private Suite, Best View in the Gorge

You have the entire ground floor, a two-room suite with large window views of Mt. Hood & the Columbia River. Windsurfers, kiters & sailboats zip across the river right below the hot tub & patio. Level 2 EV charging station. The bedroom has a TV & comfortable queen bed. The TV room has a gas fireplace & 46-inch TV. Our food prep area has a microwave, toaster oven, coffeemaker & fridge. It does not have a sink or stove. White Salmon is 3/4 mile and Hood River is 2 miles, across the river.

Twin Oaks House, Scenic Hwy, Mosier

Twin Oaks is an updated doublewide home perched on a basalt knoll with 11 beautiful acres overlooking vineyards and the Columbia River. Views include river and gorge to the west and north. In springtime see waterfalls on the Washington cliffs. Located 8 miles east of Hood River, Twin Oaks is near Mosier on scenic Hwy 30. This is in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, with nearby hiking, biking, watersports, boat ramp, & ski areas. Enjoy the numerous wineries and local microbrews in the area.

You won’t forget your time in this romantic, memorable place. A large comfy 14’X16’ safari tent on a deck 4.5’ off ground to take you away from it all! Luxurious King sized bed with memory foam mattress and a leather sofa bed. NEW beautiful private outdoor bath tub. We are off grid so we provide a WOOD STOVE, firewood is available, propane heater and power station for charging your electronics. Extra guests after 2 are $20 pp. a night. Please bring bedding for extra guests.

Charming and Eclectic Historic Red House

You are invited to stay in a Klickitat County landmark, listed on both the state and federal registers of historic places. The Red House built for the ‘Horse King of the Northwest’ Charles Newell and his wife Mary in 1890, is now a distinctive vacation rental. The Red House’s three stories are furnished with art, antique/vintage finds, colored glass windows, original ornamental trim, fresh linens and comfortable beds. The house is well equipped and designed for relaxing.

Kick back and relax in this quiet retreat! After a day of kiting, biking, hiking, fishing, skiing, shopping and wine tasting you'll be ready to relax, grill some dinner, and hang by the fire pit. My house is cozy and stylish and the perfect place to chill while enjoying your gorge vacation. Bonus: you can see the Lyle sandbar from the yard and walk to it when you're ready to get on the water! Just 15 minutes to White Salmon and Hood River, and 20 minutes to The Dalles.

A small, cozy cabin perched above the White Salmon River, just minutes from town. Enjoy the expansive 180 degree views from your private little forest oasis or take advantage of the central location to explore all The Gorge has to offer. We've recently renovated this private retreat to keep our visiting friends and family comfortable. Cabin 43 on the White Salmon River

Cabin 43 is a new home we built ourselves located right on the wild and scenic White Salmon river. We finished this project (June, 2020) and are excited to share this beautiful place with guests. It features a King bed in 1 room and 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom which can be pushed together to make a 2nd king bed. We live in a cluster of 8 other cabins down gravel road in a very serene forest setting with a large field out front and private river side walking trails.

Relax in your separate bedroom overlooking a waterfall year-round. Cook up a storm in our kitchen. Eat at the dinning room table or out on the deck. Finish your evening in the 6 person hot tub.

Our cozy 1 bedroom (queen bed) cabin is the perfect place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. Located on 26 acres where deer and turkey roam. Just a few minutes away from I-84 and Hood River. Wildflower season is upon us! Our place is a great base to spend your nights after a day of hiking in the area to view the wildflowers.
