The Shower and WC area has an skylight. The handbasin has cold water only. The private garden space has a lovely sea view. 5 minute walk to the beach, Luke's Kitchen and the Kuaotunu store. Kayak, boogie boards and fishing rods available. No pets. Fully vaccinated guests only please.

Palms Retreat

Spend a relaxing peaceful stay at our self-contained studio at beautiful Kuaotunu. The studio is separate from the main house and has it's own outdoor patio. Kuaotunu beach is only 2 minutes walk away and even in summer never gets crowded. 10 mins walk to the Kuaotunu village where you will find the famous Luke's Kitchen restaurant, Kua Kawhe Cafe and the well stocked general store. And not forgetting the local ice cream store! Large reserve, Tennis courts and Petanque court are right next door.

Unique, private, expansive bush environment; a true retreat. Beautiful views down a valley of regenerating bush and out to sea - with Great Barrier island in the distance. Ideal for two couples travelling together but wanting more privacy. One couple can book The Treehouse and one The Empty Nest. Treehouse cooking facilities can then be shared.

Kuaotunu Beach Bach

Our sunny, separate, private Kiwi bach is on a quiet property and only a 3-minute walk to sandy, picture postcard Kuaotunu Beach. Our bach is well-equipped, comfortable and close to reserves, walking tracks, a boat ramp, tennis court, petanque and BBQ area. It is an easy walk to Luke's Kitchen restaurant, Kua cafe and Kuaotunu Store. Matarangi, Optito and Otama beaches are only a few minutes drive away and 20 minutes to Whitianga for supermarkets/shopping/dining. Sorry, no smoking or pets.

Mackua Cabins (Kuaotunu West)

Loads of space, no neighbours, & wonderful views. Basic but comfortable. Space for a tent & plenty of deck to sprawl out on. Handy to the beach 1km, Lukes's kitchen 3.5km, or Matarangi 6km. A queen in the sleepout & 2 singles in the kid's cabin but suggest you use it as a living space in winter as old fashioned louvre windows allow a bit of breeze in (all beds have electric blankets). It is a work in progress (e.g. the kids will get dripped on as they leave their cabin if it is raining!).

Beach Front Paradise Rings Beach Whitianga

The Bach sits within 1 minute walk of a beautiful white sand swimming beach at Rings Beach on the beautiful Coromandel Peninsular. North facing deck absorbs the 180 degree sea views. Private, quiet with cafés and restaurants 5 to 10 mins away. Kuaotunu Skyline is a located at the top of Blackjack Rd on our family farm. It is a 20minute drive north of Whitianga and just a 5min drive to Lukes Kitchen, Kua Kawhe Café and Kuaotunu Store. Named Kuaotunu Skyline since we call the top of the farm the Skyline because of the spectacular views of ocean and sky. The 1 bedroom accommodation is brand new and is designed for couples to come to Kuaotunu to unwind, relax and enjoy our slice of paradise.

This beautiful ocean view property is a couple of minutes walk to Kuaotunu Beach and Luke's Kitchen, a well known local restaurant. The house is nestled on 4.5 acres of stunning gardens and native bush. The house consists of a 4 bedroom dwelling on the ground floor with an additional 2 bedrooms and an extra bathroom/toilet upstairs. "Kahukura" has ample parking for boats. The boat ramp is 1 kilometre away.
