The Cabin at Björken

The Cabin at Björken is a small and sweet home from the 1850's, renovated in 2022 in a classic style. The cabin is situated in a very quiet area where you mostly hear the birds chatting away during the day, and hear the deer's barking at dusk. Behind the cabin lies a forest, from the veranda you have a view over the garden, full of fruit trees. Beyond the garden lies fields and forests and a general sense of peace and calm. Sheets, towels and cleaning is included in the price! Warm Welcome!

Här bor du i ett lugnt och fint område nära vatten och skog, cirka 50 minuter med bil från Stockholms innerstad. Enklast åker man hit med bil, det är cirka 2,4 km till närmaste busshållplats. Två sängplatser finns på bottenvåningen, två på loftet. Duschrummet har förbränningstoalett. På glasverandan kan man sitta och njuta av utsikten över vattnet. Det finns en brygga, gemensam för tre fastigheter, med möjlighet till bad. Båtplats tillhandhålls inte. I närområdet finns mycket att se och göra.

På ön återfinns UNESCOs världsarv Hovgården, runstenar och historia sedan vikingatiden. På Gamla Prästgården på Adelsö kommer ett Hilma af Klint Center öppnat 2025.

From both the room and the sauna you have the lake just outside the window and there is such a feeling of tranquility. The house fits 2people. Extra guests will get new black house next door. Possible with up to 7 people. 2 guests in the RED lakehouse and 5 people in the new BLACK house 20 meters from lake.
