Built in 2024, the Shenandoah Cottage at Mattaponi Springs sits above the wedding venue and just next door to the golf course. Each king bedroom has its own private bathroom. The common area has a pullout sofa for extra guests, a full kitchen, and dining table. Surrounded by trees and wildlife, this is your refuge from the workweek. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This sweet little above garage apartment sits on Lake Anna and it’s the perfect getaway for a weekend or a relaxing week of vacation. New paint, new floors, new kitchen cabinets….everything about it is cozy and comfortable. It comes with its own private beach, volleyball court area, outdoor games as well as indoor. The Valentine Suite is on the very best part of the lake, and the apartment is at the end of the cul-de-sac. Perfect hangout!

The Tobacco Barn

A high-peaked ceiling and exposed-log crossbeams reveal the Tobacco Barn’s past life as a place for hanging tobacco leaves to dry. Now converted to a one-room guest house, it features a front porch swing, cozy fireplace, soapstone floors, a homey sitting area, and a tall, high-post bed. The pressed-tin ceiling and whiskey-barrel sink in the bathroom add to its charm. Pets are allowed and are charged a fee of $25 (first night) and $15 (per ea. add'l night). Maximum two-person occupancy.
