Make some memories at this comfortable and family-friendly cottage. Across from AAA awarded Starbuck Beach, you’re also walking distance to restaurants, parks, and more! This cozy cottage has one private bedroom, one bath and shared sleeping in the living area. Enjoy the sunrise from the large front deck, spend the day at the beach, followed by dinner on the patio of one the great restaurants around the lake. And finally watch the sun set from the private backyard while sitting by a fire.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

It offers one level living that comfortably accommodates and sleeps 6 and requires no steps to the water! Perfect for families, couples, guys and/or girls trips year round. Our property features an LP Fire Pit, complimentary row boat, two kayaks and more! There is a hard bottom swimming area and fishing right off the dock.

Please note: Cabin is not handicap accessible.

Our sunsets are lovely, and nature surrounds you. We are located on Long Lake which has no public access so it’s very quiet. Bring your kayaks for some amazing bird and turtle watching. Feel like swimming? Fairly Lake beach is 4 minutes from the cabin! End your relaxing day around the firepit!
