Welcome to the Trailside Gökotta Forest Cottage: a modern, minimalist and serene nature cabin on the Birkie Trail system. Gökotta means 'to get up early to listen to sounds of birds and the forest'. Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

You'll find us tucked in the quiet woods of northern WI near the Brule River. We're remote enough to experience star-filled skies & fireflies, but not far from many premier attractions. Your space is a self-contained apartment on the lower level of our 2.5 story home. It features a private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette, lower level private deck, access our beautiful grounds & more! We're a family of artists who love to travel & to introduce others to our beautiful part of the world.

Cozy Cabin with Fireplace! River, Trails, Private!

Timber Trails Cabin is a small country home ideal for a relaxing getaway! It is centrally located in the heart of Northern Wisconsin’s recreational opportunities. Enjoy our trails on 60 acres, a 5 min walk to the river, or drive to local lakes, the Brule River, or Lake Superior. Within walking distance is the Poplar Golf Course and Bar/Grill. At the end of the day, you can relax around a fire under the starry sky. If it is chilly outside enjoy the fireplace and some games, books, or movies!

No Cleaning Fee. Located in downtown Nebagamon!

Located in the heart of Lake Nebagamon. It is a short walk to the beach, the local watering holes (bars), restaurants, Dairy Bean, local convenience store, also the boat launch. Next to the boat launch is also a public dock/pier for fishing. If you're coming just to relax, then enjoy the very large three-season porch w/no mosquitos! Nebagamon is rider friendly. Trails accessible from property. Look for the Big (8 foot) Blue Rooster standing in front of the property! NO CLEANING FEE!

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

Sölveig Stay: Shipping Container with Nordic SAUNA

Seeley Oaks A-Frame | Secluded Retreat on 40 Acres

This is a cabin-in-the-woods experience! The Seeley Oaks A-Frame is our slice of the peaceful Northwoods experience. It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. At 700sq ft, it's intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. Sunset Sands on Lake Nebagamon

🌅 Welcome to Sunset Sands on Lake Nebagamon Sunset Sands sits feet from Lake Nebagamon with private shore access, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards in the months of June to October. Warm up by the wood-burning fireplace inside or gather around the outdoor fire pit under the stars. The outdoor fire pit is only accessible from May-November. Summer is for the lake. Fall brings the colors. Winter is fireplace season. A four-season escape built for slowing down.

Berrywood Acres Cabin

Berrywood Acres is located on the eastern shores of Lake Nebagamon. We are known for beautiful sunsets with quiet surroundings and located minutes from the famous Brule River, great hiking trails nearby and a 35 minute drive from Duluth/Superior or a bit further east to the Bayfield/Ashland area. The cabin is simple with all you need for a little RnR. Come relax on the porch and enjoy the view. We look forward to welcoming you to Berrywood Acres Cabin!

Cozy Fireplace in a Northwoods Tiny House

Deer Haven is a tiny house (192 sq feet) located in my backyard, overlooking acres of woodland. The space is small and simple. Get to the queen bed in the sleeping loft by climbing the ladder. Bathroom has a toilet and stock tank shower. The kitchen has basic amenities - fridge, microwave, hot plate, griddle, dishes, etc. Best spot in the house is on the couch, where you can see the fireplace and the gorgeous woods out the patio door.

The Cottage: No cleaning fees! Access to trails!

This charming one-bedroom cottage sits peacefully by the tree line, inviting you to start your mornings with coffee on the private porch. Spend afternoons exploring snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, or canoeing in Brule River State Forest. In the evenings, unwind with movies in your cozy retreat. For larger groups, consider renting The Farmhouse at Brule River Barn, a spacious four-bedroom, two-bath home sleeping 11.
