This is a newly renovated property with the adventure traveler in mind. Whether seeking out museums, arts & cultural events, or the many recreational opportunities the Adirondacks offer, we hope this is the perfect base for your travels. Our goal was to create a space and features that we appreciate when traveling. Unique rooms with clean, simple lines, glassware and mugs, coffee-tea-cocoa with real half and half, and towel warmers! The sink is located in the room itself, with shower and toilet in ensuite bathroom, making it easier for multiple users. Rooms 4 and 5 are offer an optional adjoining configuration, and the two cabins in the rear of the property adjoin the fire pit area. Please note that we are a non-smoking property and pets are not allowed.

Mountain View! Our classic motel-styled rooms offer bright, cozy accommodations that have been completely renovated! Featuring Flat Screen TV’s, large butcher block counter tops, and mini-fridge. Free high speed (20 Mbps) internet access available through LAN WiFi throughout the property. Two extra long full Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses can sleep up to 4 people total. Walking from Mirror Lake, Cobble Hill Trailhead and Main Street, Lake Placid. Accessible via SKI SHUTTLE in the winter!

Welcome skiiers and hikers! Built in 1905 as the Reception Hospital, the Prescott House is now a beautiful brick guesthouse a few blocks from the center of Saranac Lake. Our queen rooms feature a private room with use of a shared bathroom down the hall.
