Gollywobbler's galley comes complete with a hot plate, microwave and refrigerator. The bedroom features a sitting area, lots of storage space and a full-size plus bed. An additional sleeping berth is an extra long roomier-than-normal twin. Lastly, the dining table lowers into a full bed. Five kayaks are shared with other boats. Ranger's Hideout at Whitman Lake, Mount Rainier

Perched over Whitman Lake, escape with a cold beverage on your large deck that makes you feel "within the trees." Surrounded by old growth cedars, watch as the resident bald eagles take turns diving into the lake for their lunchtime snack. Walk down the railroad tie stairs and through our "naturally" landscaped yard to find your private dock with a kayak that is free for guests. It has all the joys of camping but all the features of a luxury bungalow, with new appliances, high speed internet, and upgraded bathrooms with soaking tubs. There is a fire pit next to the stream and a wood stove to keep the house cozy with lots of dry wood waiting for you to enjoy. Enjoy horseshoes as well! The property is completely fenced! House-trained pets are welcome.

Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

Our tree-house, built by Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters, aired as the African Safari Hut. The professionally designed interior is filled with African artifacts. It was designed to be a writer's cottage for Skeeter who is an author and an African historian. Skeeter and Jacque love having guests stay at the treehouse, especially writers and artists looking for a retreat to work on their craft. With few exceptions, the treehouse is available for stays of 2 to 5 days.
