It was originally a grist mill that used water from the west branch of the Little Conestoga Creek to power a wheel used to grind flour. The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It has been completely redone and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with beautiful views. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

TRAINS!!!!Across the street is a freight train line service. The trains are random at all hours. They are briefly loud. Otherwise this a lovely space situated along the Susquehanna. There are several restaurants close by. Close to Hershey and Lancaster Amish Country. Bike trail across the street. Cayaking on the Susquehanna River.

Come and relax in our cozy, cottage style home with its own private entrance, surrounded by working Amish farms, just outside of town. This historic building was used as a Wash House when the building next door functioned as a Tavern. A short 15 minute drive to Historic Strasburg, Sight and Sound Theater, Antique Shopping, and more! Hiking Trails close by include Enola Low Grade Rail Trail, Pinnacle Point, Muddy Run Park, and Sickman's Mill.
