Find a Country Feel in the City with Rural Views

Sit out in the backyard then come indoors to relish leafy views from a triple-aspect living room. The apartment has a cottage feel with window boxes and wooden fittings. A hanging plant, and white linens provide a calming feeling. Awake to the songs of birds and explore our 1/2 acre of fruit trees, vegetable beds, and landscape. Yet most of San Diego’s attractions are just 5 to 10 miles away. The new kitchen is included in your space so you can prepare your own meals if desired. Cooking equipment included are a convection toaster oven, coffee maker, hot pot, a microwave, and an induction plate, pots & pans, kitchen tools, cutlery and dishes. We also provide coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, cooking oil, and ice. This space is attached to our main home but you’ll have your own separate entrance and private kitchen/ living, bed and bath. We'd love to greet you and show you around when you arrive, but if we happen to miss you will have your own unique door code to get in. We’ve prepared a binder of information for guests and can help you plan for best use of your time. However if you prefer to be on your own we’re fine with that too. We have walked to downtown or to the nearest trolley, but unless you are walkers and out for exercise, you will probably want a car. There are now lots of bikes available for rent, but it will be uphill to get back to the house. Some of our guests have chosen to rely only on Uber, in which case grocery and/or meal delivery are helpful. If you have an afternoon or evening flight you are welcome to store luggage at our house after your 10 AM check out. We are in a hilly residential area with stores, restaurants and bus/ trolley access about 2 miles away, so you'll have the most flexibility if you come by car. If you choose to Uber, you can order groceries or takeout meals to be delivered.

our Boutique Casita features beautiful ample gardens, huge trees and 3 outdoor seating areas, the house has a country feeling to it however, decor of the Casita is all modern and fresh, the kitchen houses a stove and refrigerator, the Casita can sleep up to 4 people, 2 in the main Queen bed and 2 in the kitchen area in the Daybed which has one top one bottom mattress as viewed in the pictures, access from street is flat no steps access all the way into the house , the patio has indoor parking.

If you don’t want to drive it’s close to the trolley that takes you all over the county; downtown, shopping, convention center, and stadiums. 10 minutes from downtown San Diego, 25 min to beaches, and 45 min to the mountains. Relax on the front porch with drinks or eating at the bistro table, the front yard is fenced for kids to play, and WiFi. There is a playpen upon request. Rhett the desert tortoise awaits! Enjoy your stay at our recently updated/remodeled cozy studio with all the comforts. We are 15 minutes from downtown San Diego, our city's beautiful beaches, Mexico, and 30 minutes to the mountains. We are located between 2 trolley stations and a 2 minute drive to access the freeway. The studio includes a separate sleeping area with a comfy queen bed. The sleeping area and living area are separate areas. Enjoy our updated kitchenette for your meals. The studio has a private entrance.

Lemon Drop Cozy Studio

Introducing our itsy bitsy studio, where small is not only beautiful but also a trove of comfort and ingenuity. While it may lack extravagant features, it does offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Traveler beware this is a basic regular ol’ bland neighborhood (nothing to do walking distance) I do have gr8 news is, we are at close proximity (1 mile) to the freeway allowing for easy access and seamless exploration of all San Diego has to offer.

This is a cabin with a bathroom separate on the back deck. The bathroom includes a composite toilet. You will be given instructions on how to use this when you arrive. The shower and sink both have hot water that go into a gray water system. This means you will have to use the environmentally friendly products provided.
