The Greek government requires all guests staying in registered short-term accommodation to pay a Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, which is collected by the host and paid directly to the Greek tax authorities. It is 10 minutes away from the famous beaches of Matala, Kommos,Agiofarago, Kalamaki, Kokkinos Pyrgos and Kaloi Limenes. Because it’s in the south part of Crete, even in the windy days you can find a beach that’s calm enough for swimming. The Minoan palace of Faistos, the archeological site of Gortyna, the cave-graves of Matala are also only 10 minutes away.
