Self Catering Barn in Gower Village

Common Stone Barn is located in the picturesque Gower village of Llangennith. The village is located at the Western edge of the rugged Gower Peninsula. The area is famed for its stunning beaches and beautiful scenery. Common Stone Barn is ideally located in the centre of the village being situated within comfortable walking distance of the local pub and beach. Common Stone Barn was built in 2006 being based on the Old Rocket Cart House which is located on the foothills of Rhossili Bay. The barn was converted into living accommodation in 2013. If you have a larger party further accommodation can be arranged for you in our bed and breakfast. There are two double bedrooms which are accessed by a contemporary oak staircase; one of the bedrooms has a cabrio window balcony and the other with large velux windows with views across Rhossili bay towards Tenby. There is also a bed settee. There is a fully equipped kitchen which includes an electric hob and cooker, washing machine, fridge and toaster etc. There is a small breakfast bar and seating at a dining table for 4 people. Please note the price quoted is for 2 people there may be a slight addition for extra guests. Lounge area has a large corner settee, freeview TV and woodburning stove (free basket of logs provided). There is a large sun veranda and external deck area which includes a BBQ area. Off road parking for up to three vehicles.

Driftwood Cottage, Gower. A perfect beach getaway

Driftwood cottage is a compact and beautiful detached 18th century stone cottage, set in it's own small garden and based in the idyllic hamlet of Cwm Ivy in North Gower. A magical walk from the property leads through the Whitford National Nature Reserve to both Whitford Sands and Broughton Bay (both are within half a mile). The Gower peninsular offers an array of beautiful coastal walks, open grasslands, woodland and marsh walks. It also boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the UK.

This my family home where I grew up, when not living in Asia. Furnishings reflect those years abroad and make this house (with woodburner) quite unique, along with having a small private woods trail and one of the best views in the village of the Worm’s Head. Ty Gwennol is a self-catering barn conversion on the beautiful Gower peninsula. The cottage is ideally situated to enjoy Gower's beaches, nature and countryside. Perfect for wedding guests as less than ten minutes from Oldwalls, Fairy Hill and King Arthur. Ideal for surfers and walkers, you can join the footpath network straight from the door. The owner's family home is next door and our children and friendly dog play in the garden. Guests have their own garden area and access to EV charger.

The Store at Mewslade Cottage

The Store at Mewslade Cottage is a self contained unit with separate entrance and beautiful courtyard area within the garden. It is located at the end of the Gower peninsular has off-road parking and is 5 minutes walk down a lane to beautiful Mewslade beach, 10 minutes walk to wonderful Rhossili. It has a low double bed up narrow stairs in a lovely roof space (not standing height), a kitchen and dining area that opens out onto the courtyard, separate room with sofa bed & TV and a shower room.

Lovely Cottage (newly renovated) Riverside Cottage is a newly renovated barn conversion on a quiet lane in Rhossili within walking distance of three wonderful beaches; Mewslade, Fall Bay and Rhossili Bay which is often recommended as one of the best beaches in the UK. It is also great for many coastal and inland walks and surfing. The cottage is entirely self-contained (though attached at one end to the old farmhouse) and has its own spacious outdoor area with tables/seating/BBQ and parking.

Welcome to Delvid Stables, a stones throw from a quiet sandy beach for swimming, walking, surfing or just relaxing. The house is on 10 acres far away from the maddening crowd. There’s a new bathroom, kitchen and a redecorated 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds. Theres a garden table next to an apple orchard (URL HIDDEN) . To access the beach, just walk out the door, through a small field & onto the dunes, less than 10 minutes. A better summer location would be hard to find. Need car for visit.

Plum is solid stone with beamed ceilings. At the back of historic College House, Plum is completely self-contained with its own seated patio alongside the old herb garden with views of Rhossili Downs. 2 mins walk from the village pub, The King's Head Hotel, and convenient for coastal walks.
