Downstairs has a small fenced yard and pier for swimming, fishing, or lounging. Pets are welcome with a pet fee, but they must be approved prior to your stay.

Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

The house is on Bon Secour river and it’s great for swimming and fishing. Lots of different kinds of fish to catch or if enjoy watching birds this is the place to be. We are renting out our newly remodeled cottage on our property. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. There is a queen bed in each bedroom. Our cottage has a full kitchen and 2 separate porches to sit and relax. A dog is allowed as long as it’s well behaved, potty trained and smaller in size. We are one block from Fish River so boats, fishing poles, kayaks and bikes are great for the area. Close to downtown Fairhope. Short drive to the beaches.
