This spacious peaceful and private home on 5 acres is great for unwinding & relaxing whether it is enjoying the day by the incredible pool/spa or stargazing at night. Far from the noise and pollution of city life. You can spend a weekend or a week away from work life because you deserve it. Close to Foxwoods casino and Mohegan sun casino, super Walmart and other stores. Please let us know before booking more than 4 people whether it is just for the day or night or both. Let us welcome you to 100 Acre Wood, a historic farm and working cattle ranch. Owl's House is a private and stylish guest house nestled within the trees and garden and offers 180° views. Our farm store is stocked with our own TX Longhorn beef and pasture-raised chicken and eggs, plus curated with local products. Enjoy pastoral farm life and our private forest trails, or get out and play in the area's abundance of fine dining, wineries, seasonal attractions, outdoor activities, and entertainment.

Cozy Cape on the Cove

Our two-bedroom cape on the tidal cove is a paradise for any birdwatcher, fisherman, or kayak enthusiast. It’s not for swimming though. We are located near any destination you may want (i.e. casinos), yet far enough off the beaten path to enjoy some peace & quiet. Listen to the birds and crickets by the firepit or take out our rentable kayaks for a morning paddle. Dogs welcome too! Pet fee is $50 per stay. Maximum 2 dogs. Maximum of 3 guests. Any unauthorized guest will be charged at $50/each.

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Foxwoods casino is only 10 minute drive. Looking for a family destination or some great dining? Just a 20 minute trip to downtown Mystic, aquarium, seaport etc.

Rustic cottage on on Little River, a lovely trout stream that swishes around rocks. Great place for kids to play! Lake across the street. Canoe. Woods all around. Very quiet except for hush of river. Nice deck extends almost to the river. Gas and charcoal grills. In all ways cozy and pleasant. Nice for couples, writers, artists, travelers, families, and pets—a place for quiet, peaceful people. About the lake: There's no beach. Access is just a narrow path down to the water.
