Heybeliadali marangoz Andon usta 1928 yilinda Burak Reis Sokak'ta bir ev yaptirmaya karar verir. 1930 yilinda biten evin alt kati tas, ust kati kagir yigma, tavan ve tabani ahsaptir. Andon usta uzun yillar yasamini bu evde surdurur. Vefatindan sonra uzun yillar bu evde oturan olmaz. Yeni ev sahibi 2003'te restorasyona baslar. 2004'te aslina uygun sekilde yenilenen bu evde cicekler icinde yeni bir yasam baslar. Evin arkasi orman, onu alabildigine mavilikler ve sabahlari sadece kus sesleri...

My house is located in the center of a historic neighborhood. This historical, private, two-floored house has a balcony with a view of sea of Marmara and it takes 3 mins walk to there and 10 mins to Tramway station. Hagia Sophia, Sultanahmet Mosque & Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Little Hagia Sophia, Mosaic Museum, Carpet museum, Arasta Bazaar and many other historical sites are all in the walking distance. It is surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants and shops.

Originally built in the early 2000s by my father, an ITU-graduate civil engineer, the house was completely redesigned by me in 2023, as an architect, with one purpose: to create a place where people truly slow down and feel good.Evenings by the fireplace, conversations around the fire pit, and time spent in the warm pool define the spirit of Vera House.
