Historic Farmhouse with Donkeys on Creeper Trail

Welcome to the historic Abingdon Donkey Lodge, a farm stay on the Creeper Trail. We're waterfront too, and have sweet, fuzzy donkeys to pet. Your stay includes the upstairs of our beautiful home: 2 huge bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining area, and a balcony. (Your hosts live downstairs, so we share an entrance.) No kitchen or laundry access. We host up to 4 guests ages 12 and over. No pets, please. Two parking spaces. Please read all details before booking. Cats may visit you. NO CLEANING FEE.

This newly finished upstairs loft/cabin is part of an old historic barn built in the 1800s and used as one of the first Pony Express! Uniquely decorated with large windows and a great view of the pastures and distant mountains, your sanctuary is only 6 miles to Damascus, VA, 45 min. to Boone, NC, and 25 min. to Abingdon, VA. Enjoy the Cherokee National Forest trail leading to a double waterfall!

Cozy space for a getaway!. Located a block off Main Street and walking distance of Historic Downtown Abingdon. We strive to make your stay special. The apartment has upgraded wifi, work space for your tablet, or device. Roku tv, full-size kitchen, and private bedroom with queen bed . Sofa bed suitable for two children, or, one adult. The backyard patio includes a play house for children with swings, slide, and zip line. Creeper Trail access from stay via the Abingdon Urban Pathway.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

Our Greenway Suite is a beautifully renovated apartment overlooking Main St. Centrally located in a very old building and within walking distance to everything you would want to see in Downtown Abingdon. Stocked with the best amenities and all the comfort you would need to just stay in and enjoy the experience of this classic old building if you'd prefer! Easy Living is a quiet home in the country that sits directly beside the South Fork of the Holston River. It is halfway between the trail town of Damascus and historic Abingdon. The Virginia Creeper Trail is conveniently located just across the bridge at the end of the driveway and is the perfect place to hike, bike, or walk with the family. Fishing is available along the river bank or just relax on the private gazebo. All of the conveniences of home with much more relaxation!

Enjoy a quiet country setting just 10 minutes from downtown Abingdon and the Virginia Creeper Trail, 20 minutes to the Appalachian Trail, 30 minutes to downtown Bristol. Enjoy pastoral views while you relax on the back deck, which runs the length of the house. The unit includes the entire main floor of the home with bedroom, bath, living room, full kitchen and laundry room. If you love the outdoors this is a great base for exploring this beautiful corner of the world.
