The sitting room has a log burner for cosy nights in & the front sitting room has a double sofa bed for additional guests There are two double bedrooms & a single bedroom. There is a large fully equipped kitchen. The Local pub is a 2 min walk and Magheroarty beach is a short walk/2min drive away.Ideal base for exploring with Glenveagh National park,Errigal and ferry to Inishbofin/Tory nearby

Paddys thatched cottage is a recently renovated property built circa 1880 set on 7 acres of farmland & still retains the original features/character including the internal exposed stone wall & large fireplace making it very cosy. This area is very popular for trail walking in the hills or the purpose built walkways. Outdoor activities are plentiful such as kayaking, sea swimming, guided rock climbing & golfing. If the weather doesn't permit you can always light the stove & put the feet up.

It rests in the heart of the Gaeltacht on a laneway 1km from the village of Gortahork. It is shaded by majestic trees, a vegetable garden and views of Magheraroarty beach. The Poison Glen and Errigal mountain are within 10 minutes drive. The cottage is at the heart of a variety of outdoor pursuits, cultural experiences and nature itself.

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.
