This charming two-bedroom, one-bathroom unit, located in a safe secure neighbourhood, accommodate six guests comfortably. Both bedrooms offer plush queen-sized beds. The living area doubles as an additional sleeping space, with a sofa bed for extra guests. A modern bathroom offers all the essentials for your stay. Open-plan kitchen, fully equipped and adjoining dining area. Relax in the cozy living room or step out to enjoy the patio and swimming pool. Enjoy free wifi and no load shedding

Vlei House

A large, comfortable, self - catering holiday house. Walking distance to both the Wetland Reserve and Wakkerstroom Village. Tranquil, with a very large garden that leads onto the 'vlei'. It is perfectly located within Wakkerstroom. We deliberately do not have wifi or television so as to enjoy the 'digital detox' that Wakkerstroom offers. There is erratic mobile network coverage in Wakkerstroom and at Vlei House. There are TVs at the hotel and some pubs, in need.

Sunbird Cottage - Relaxed Farm Getaway

Sunbird Cottage is on a working farm 30km from Volksrust and Wakkerstroom Wetlands, it is a place to come and relax and recharge, we are off grid. There is great birding, walking, mountain biking and bass fishing on site, there are also kayaks for the dams. The cottage overlooks a gorge that goes down to the Slang River with an indigenous forest and has great views over the valley towards Amajuba Mountain and Battlefields for those interested in history.

Estee House is a home away from home situated in Newcastle, Central. The house is tastefully decorated with modern finishings. It has a fully fitted beautiful kitchen with granite tops. Very neat and secure. It is close to both hospitals and the Newcastle Mall. Housekeeping will be done free off-charge every alternate day. Change of towels are available on request. It is ideal for long stays with quiet and peaceful surroundings.

This town was our home for three years and sadly we had to move to the city, away from the peace,tranquillity and charm of the Vleiland-town But that opened up the opportunity for us to share our house and secrets of Wakkerstroom with many a traveller.
