Although we are number 60, we are one of just 5 beach front buildings present today. Historically 1-51 were wooden beach huts which have long gone. Dunkery is situated on the fringe of Exmoor National Park in a quiet and elevated location within Minehead. Dunkery is a family and dog friendly three bedroom, self-catered holiday bungalow with north facing views across North Hill. The property has been completely refurbished to a very high standard, perfect for walkers, romantic escapes and family breaks. Check in and out days are restricted to Saturday and Tuesday (Please check the calendar as our prices change depending on the time of year.

Outside, the large elevated decking area has three separate seating areas to enjoy the ambience of the peaceful setting.

Garden Cottage is a beautiful peaceful retreat in the tranquil village of Timberscombe. A 2 bedroom cottage with patio garden and ample walking for your dogs, a post office and shop and a pub serving great food. Dunster 3 miles away with a dog friendly beach and Minehead 5 miles away where the south west coastal path starts featuring the salt path. Ideally situated to explore Exmoor, Dunkery Beacon, Porlock, Lynmouth, Tarr steps, Landacre and Lorna Doone Valley.

1 Coastguard Cottages is one of a terrace of five Grade 2 listed houses built in 1877 for the Admiralty. It is situated on the edge of Minehead bay with panoramic views over the Bristol Channel to the islands of Steepholm and Flatholm and the Welsh coastline. It is just steps from the start of the South West Coast Path and a perfect location for a family holiday. Walks from the front door give quick access to the Exmoor National Park on North Hill.

Steam Railway Shepherd’s Hut, Somerset

The Railway Hut is a self-contained shepherd’s hut for two, with luxuriously comfortable double bed with all seasons duvet. En-suite shower room with complimentary toiletries. Kitchenette with all the basics ready for your arrival. For the chilly winter evenings you’ll find a cosy log burner laid and ready to light. Outside facilities include designated parking, private outdoor seating, bbq and fire pit. We also have secure bike storage.
