The Timberjack

Although it's a rustic homage to the lumberjacks and jills of yesteryear, this cabin includes many of the comforts we now enjoy including a queen bed, kitchenette with fridge, hot water, AC/heat, a Keurig coffeemaker, smart TV and charcoal grill. The Timberjack is surrounded by trees right on Lake Hayward and close to downtown Hayward. Launch your canoe just steps from the cabin, walk into town for lunch, or go hiking or skiing on the nearby trails, this cabin is nestled in the ideal location!

Memorable Cozy Lake Cabin on Cranberry Lake

Kick back and relax on Cranberry Lake. Wake up to the loons calling then enjoy breakfast with a great lake view. You can boat from Cranberry to the Minong Flowage and enjoy numerous dining options on the water. This is a small home but very cozy for 4 people. There is a screen house in the lawn as well as firepit and woodshed. Plenty of outdoor seating at the house and at the landing to the lake. You will thoroughly enjoy Cranberry Lake. Please note, there is marginal cell service and no wifi.

Built as a winter or summer escape for a couple or small group, this beautiful four season cabin is a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin in a modern, well-appointed, aesthetically rich space designed with relaxation in mind. Cabin is brand new as of January 2024. Host is 14 year "superhost" This is a default "no pets" cabin, however certain sizes and breeds are allowed by permission only. Locally owned and managed. Our cabin is tucked behind pines right on Highway 63 in Cable. Full off street, private parking w/ room for trailers and toys, plus full locked gear room in basement. Easy walking distance to everything in Cable. It can sleep 5-6, but makes a great space for 2-4. 3 mi from the Birkie start, 2.5 mi from the North End Cabin. ATV & Snowmobile right from the driveway. Full furnace for heat and central air conditioning for those hot summer days!

We are known for beautiful sunsets with quiet surroundings and located minutes from the famous Brule River, great hiking trails nearby and a 35 minute drive from Duluth/Superior or a bit further east to the Bayfield/Ashland area.
