It has a quiet, private setting with everything needed to make your stay comfortable &, hopefully, inspired. The outdoors is this home's other half, creating an enveloping amphitheater of gardens, birds, trees & a hammock. Beyond this private nest are 360 degree views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains, the Rio Grande Gorge, spectacular sunset displays & miles of walking & bike trails.

Entire home with full kitchen, one bathroom with washer and dryer, one bedroom with queen bed, newly added Queen bed in the living room, The home sits on 5 acres with amazing views. 30 minutes from The great sand dunes national park! 15 minutes from Sand dunes hot springs. Front and back porch perfect for watching the sunrise and sunsets, quiet get away. There is some equipment on property, We have a shop area in the back of the property we use occasionally but it is a good distance away. NO AC

The studio is located in the Greater World Earthship Community, just past the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. 20 minutes from the heart of the historic district.

Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. Enjoy a visit to The Great Sand Dunes, followed by relaxing at the Hooper Spa and Hot Springs an hour away. Located between Monte Vista and Del Norte. Quiet get awaly with clear skies for phenomenal star gazing. Wolf Creek Ski area famous for its snow conditions 34 miles. Fly fishing spots nearby.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Easy travel to the Great Sand Dunes, hot spring pools, hiking, off roading, skiing and hunting. Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge within 8 miles. Off street parking allows room for recreational vehicle parking as well. This cozy apartment of 500 sq ft is perfect for 2, but can accommodate 4 with the queen bedroom and the futon which makes into a queen size bed. No TV. Monte Vista is a small rural town.

A cozy tiny little house that is located in the San Luis Valley. The cozy house is located on our family ranch where you are within walking distance of fishing on the Rio Grande River or can enjoy seeing lots of different animals such as farm animals and wildlife. You can put your feet up as you sit on the porch and listen to the Ro Grande flow and immerse yourself in all that the ranch has to offer. Relax and enjoy your stay.
