As you descend the stairway into the woods you'll begin to experience the peace of Otium, one of two small shipping containers set into a clearing in the forest. The outdoor living space has lounging seats, chairs, natural gas fire pit, outdoor shower and an outdoor soaking tub! The inside of Otium is designed with the colors and textures of nature, seamlessly blending with the surroundings, but furnished with luxury linens and all the comforts of home! Mohican Cabin Private Getaway

Your own private cabin in the woods! A great getaway adjacent to Mohican State Forest and Mohican area activities. There is no TV in the cabin, so you can enjoy the natural setting of the cabin without distraction. NOTE: there is a walking path and steps to get to the cabin, steps up to the front door, and an open staircase to the sleeping loft. The driveway to the cabin is up hill and gravel, accessible by all cars in the Spring/Summer/Fall.

Our log home was built in 2008 by the Amish, with vaulted ceilings and a loft, outdoor decks, and a large front porch. We have many outdoor sitting areas, outdoor fireplace, and koi pond. Although we keep our home very clean we have pets, 2 dogs and several outdoor only cats. Friendly pets are welcome. We are welcoming to all travelers and enjoy opening our home to you.
