Shepherd's Hut at High Gardens

Luxury shepherd’s hut in rural Herefordshire. A perfect retreat to escape and unwind, the cosy hut overlooks stunning views of the surrounding Herefordshire countryside. The hut has a full-size double bed and wood stove for those chillier evenings. Adjacent to the hut is another character building that boasts a luxury walk-in waterfall shower, flushing toilet and heated towel rail, fluffy towels are also provided. There is also a well equipped kitchen which includes a Nespresso coffee machine.

The Shepherd’s Delight 2 person stylish Shepherd’s Hut in the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with peaceful views of the fields and trees; you will often look out of the window in the morning to see a family of deer grazing. The hut is just a few steps away from miles of forest trails, two minutes from the Wye Valley Walk and xx minutes from Offa’s Dyke. It’s about a mile from Tintern, a short drive from the Forest of Dean and the area is perfect for walkers, runners and cyclists.

Relax with the sounds of birds and nature in this unique place. Our purpose-built super cosy Shepherd's Hut is directly on the Three Castles Walk, tucked away in a private corner of the field next to our own Eco home. Outside, there's a gazebo with table and chairs and a smoker barbeque. You can lie in bed watching the sheep and cattle in the distance or you can relax with a movie on the large screen. It's the most peaceful location we have ever lived in, and we'd love you to experience it.

Nestled on the fringes of mature woodland on a small working farm, the hut is secluded with open views over the breathtaking Dulas Valley in rural Herefordshire. Relax in the private outside area, with charcoal barbeque, hammock and fire pit, and explore local walks, pubs, market towns and historical sites. Dogs are welcome. Self contained space with everything you need, in your own little private forest nook. Lie in your King size bed gazing out, see the stars twinkle through the branches. Sip wine on your veranda. Hire hotub as an extra. Snuggled warm with the Woodburning fire. Indoor fully stocked kitchen, gas hob, fridge. Ensuite hot shower and sink. Separate private loo.

Our fully-insulated shepherd's hut offers a genuinely off-grid experience. The hut is South-facing, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside - and nothing else! Our land is well served by public footpaths (though none come near the hut), with walks to suit all standards. (Our favourite is to the pub, which will take you about 40 minutes.) Your only companions are sheep, wild animals and birds. You have the exclusive use of a compost loo and eco-shower, located near the hut.
