This rental is a stand alone house. A very comfortable queen size bed and a single bed in a separate bedroom, lodge style living room with a vaulted ceiling, full kitchen, bathroom with shower and a half bath. Access to the pond and hiking trails. Nearby Sturbridge Village and Tree House Brewery.

Quiet country setting, minutes from UCONN and easy access from RTE 84 makes this place perfect for visitors traveling through the "Quiet Corner" of CT. Windy Top Cottage ~ A Romantic "European" Getaway

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the quarters for the domestic staff while the family was in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, we offer clean, fresh country air!
