For the fishing enthusiasts an array of fish can be caught from the dock to incl, sheep's head, flounder, puppy drum, speckled trout, blue fish, crabs and more.

Within a few blocks are coffee shops, restaurants, bars, exercise studios, shopping and local attractions, including the waterfront and charter boats. A serene back patio and relaxing covered front porch offer perfect bookends to your day, with the house providing everything needed in between.

Fishing paradise and breathtaking sunrise and moonlight from your private hottub on the back deck. Tandem kayak and small jon boat included. You can fish, kayak, or wade from the back yard! We've caught drum, flounder, shrimp, etc. Master has a king nectar bed and an amazing view of the water from the picture windows. 3 miles to beach, 13 miles to Aquarium, & 13 miles to Camp Lejeune. The road is close but once you exit your vehicle, you feel like you are in your own lil paradise.

Built in the 1960's, the Washington Cottage is a little gem that was completely restored in 2022. It's located within walking distance of Morehead City's waterfront area with restaurants, bars and charter fishing boats. Take in the beautiful views of the bay and sunsets from the front porch or just relax in this peaceful getaway. We own the local coffee shop about a half mile away (voted best coffee on the Crystal Coast) and you get complimentary coffee during your stay!
