Garden suite

The guest area is private. It has a queen bedroom with ensuite, its own entrance, veranda and outside space. There is a private lounge for exclusive guest use overlooking the garden with fridge/tea/coffee etc. It is nestled in the foothills of the pretty suburb of Cashmere, on excellent bus routes, but close enough to walk into the city if you wish. There are beautiful riverside walks to cafes and bars close by. The garden is stunning with fantails, silvereyes and bellbirds as regular visitors.

Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. This 1920s character house has been modernised in 2019 conserving features of a classic home such as unique windows and good spaced rooms. Located at the edge of the "four avenues" where most of Christchurch city's entertaining and shopping is situated, you will be close to everything, in a walk distance. Or within 15 minutes drive you can reach surfing beaches or the Port Hills.
