If you want a place where you can be socially distanced, this is the place! (discounts for weekly or monthly stays.) The cabin is set in a 90 acre area surrounded by woods with two small lakes (fishing, walking trails and paddle boating available at no extra charge). There is only one other cabin on the 90 acres. Nearest town, Dixon (3 miles), Madisonville (20 miles, Henderson 21 miles), Evansville, IN (has a regional airport about 35 miles). Truly a relaxing getaway place.

This is a nice spacious cabin in the woods right on the water. It has a covered front porch across the entire length of the cabin. There is one bedroom, a sleeping loft, living room, kitchen, dining area, and a bathroom with shower. The interior is all finished in beautiful native hardwood lumber. It is surrounded by large oak trees and has a pond right in front. It is set back approximately 300 ft from a public road which provides excellent privacy.

We welcome your four legged friends. Please note, our dogs are off leash and will be around the grounds. Located just 11 miles west of Owensboro Kentucky airport, it’s the perfect place to rest wander and restore. During your stay you are welcome to wander @ the campground and explore our hiking trails, fishing holes and in season the swimming pool. Poolside cabin sits in the heart of our campground at Camp Safe Haven.
