We at Hawaii Volcano Coffee Company welcome you to stay at our beautiful studio cottage overlooking one of our many organic coffee orchards. We are located between two of the Big Islands most iconic areas; Hawaii Volcano National Park and Hilo's beaches, approximately both a 20-minute drive from the studio. Our road to cottage can be rough,it is old blacktop that need to be replaced. We are asking county for help but no response.Road be adventurous , but cottage is worth it. E Komo Mai (Welcome)

NOTE: Due to its rural jungle location there is no satellite tv, Wi-Fi is provided for streaming. Short dirt road may require a SUV. Neighborhood may include wild pigs, bugs, roosters, and coqui frogs

Charming Rainforest Cottage

Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

Our unique jungalow provides space to relax & experience nature & adventure like never before. Nestled in a beautiful Hawaiian forest, this listing features a cozy cabin with a queen bed. The bathroom is traditional open Hawaiian style although still private. Showering outside in the rainforest is truly magical! While this unit is just suitable for 2 people, we do have another listing where we have combined 2 cabins for up to 4 people. Plug n play hot tub add on available.

Our Retreat is a labor of our love and was built as such. A getaway to relax, hike the nearby beaches, forests, and volcanoes and to simply enjoy life. Our place is a peaceful spot completely off the grid in nature. It is 8 miles to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. You’ll love our place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoor space. Our goal was to bring the outdoors in and the indoors outside. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.

If you don't find the sound of coqui frogs at night obtrusive to your sleep, then this space would be suitable. While you will have privacy, my dad stays in the main house in case you need assistance in person. We are located at about 100 foot of elevation which provides for relatively cooler nights.
