Kumbogie Cabin is an eco friendly (off grid solar and battery) private retreat situated on a working sheep farm. Nestled in a secluded location approximately 900m from the nearest dwelling, access is via a dirt track and a couple of gates. It is located at the base of the farm's surrounding hills it has stunning scenery, natural bushland and an abundance of Australian flora & fauna. The cabin itself is perfect for any couple looking to have a romantic getaway. Thereis a no children policy.

The beautiful Gwydir River is a block away where you can swim, kayak and watch the world go by. Local horse-riding tours are a few minutes walk away, and you’ll often hear the sound of horse hooves walking up the street. The main street, iconic Roxy Theatre, pubs, and shops are a block away. The Old Schoolhouse was originally built for the owners’ children to attend correspondence school but has since been transformed into self-catered accommodation with fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom.
