Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

The Philo Dome

The Dome is a wonderful getaway for families or a group of friends. It is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom 2-story home in the heart of the Anderson Valley wine country. Gaze at the stars from the hot tub, sample some fruit from the orchard, explore the redwoods and suspension bridge, swim in the Navarro River and visit local wineries and farms. A true country getaway! It shares the property with a cottage (periodically occupied by the owners), but maintains a feeling of privacy and has amazing views.

Meadow Wood near Mendocino Village

Meadow Wood on the Mendocino Coast is a modern county home in a lovely meadow surrounded by redwoods. It is a serene setting 2 miles inland from the ocean, avoiding our foggy summer days. Multiple State Parks and beaches are a short drive away. There is abundant wildlife and year-round wild flowers. Nearby is excellent dining; art galleries, theater, golf, tennis, spas, kayaking, fishing, nightlife and unique shopping in Mendocino, Little River and Fort Bragg. Stay several days to enjoy it all.

Crispin Cottage

A small but cozy cabin which is comfortable, warmed by our kerosene heater in the winter and with a small air conditioner for the heat waves of summer. The sunroom maintained by my sister is one of our guests favorite features. Our property is peaceful, with only my mother, sister and my sister's young grandson living in the two other dwellings on the three acre property. We offer complete privacy for those that prefer it; or for those that enjoy it, my mother loves visiting with our guests.

The Linger LongerRanch is the name that Doc Edwards chose for his Summer home. The Edwards were one of the first families to come from the Bay Area to find peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city. He named the property Linger Longer because this magical ranch would always leave his guests wanting to stay longer. Today its current owners enjoy this same experience for the same reasons. We're located on 5 wooded acres 10 minutes from the village of Mendocino, Big River Beach, Mendocino Woodlands and Mendocino Headlands. Located in a quiet lush setting of Redwoods, and wild Rhododendrons adjacent to Jackson State Forest. The cottage has one bedroom and bathroom and the living area includes a full kitchen. Quiet and secluded. Located on a paved private lane away from traffic.
