The Harbinson Homestead

This cozy log-cabin was built by hand in 1929 and remains a living work of art. Located in the rolling hills of Homer, just 20 min. from Downtown, this stunning old homestead offers an authentic Alaskan experience with mountain views! Accommodations: 3 beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins), a full kitchen w/running water, modern Toyo heater and wood stove, a tidy outhouse, and a genuine Nordic Spa (sauna/coldplunge). We have 2 cabins that sleep 4 each. Sitting on 10 acres. Sandhill Cranes, local birds, and plenty of moose. There is a cow moose with twins again. We are 4 miles from Anchor Point, and the world renowned Anchor River. We are 5 miles from the ocean. A large lot to park and turn your toys around in right by your cabin. Absolutely no pets allowed…. We love animals, yet do not want to clean up after them and do not want the allergens for future guests. Very private and peaceful.

Historic Russian Cabin With Ocean Views

The hand hewn log cabin was built in the late 1800's by Russian settlers and is located in the historic native/Russian settlement of Ninilchik. (An idyllic village that sits on the Cook Inlet, through which the lovely winding Ninilchik River runs.) 180 mile drive from anchorage and only 35 miles from famous Homer, Alaska on the Kachemak bay. You will have total privacy but if you need anything im a 5 minute walk down the road and always reachable by phone.
