One-Acre Desert Camp

Discover Stars, Sunsets & Skyline. Sleep under wide New Mexico skies on a quiet one-acre desert campsite in Rio Rancho. Enjoy sunset views, city lights, and stargazing close to town. Base price includes a tent setup, basic camp gear, drinking water, sanitizer, and a privacy-tent outhouse with above-ground toilet. Primitive site: no running water, Wi-Fi, shade, or open flames. Camp stove only. Vehicle with 4x4/high-clearance recommended. Bring-your-own-gear guests get 30% off and no cleaning fee.

Serene Wildlands Campsite in Rio Rancho / 1 Acre /

Bring your own tent and enjoy a private desert camping trip under the stars! ✨ - 8 minutes from Rio Rancho - 4 wheel drive recommended for country roads - Space for up to 4 tents, near top of hill at a distance from arroyo - Access roads are fun for 4 wheeler and dirtbike trips - Leave no trace, take with you what you brought in - Country neighbors nearby, quiet hours from 10pm - No loud digital music (accoustic guitars, etc are okay before 10pm) - Park directly next to road to avoid sand

Located within Stone House Lodge & RV, what better way to get in touch with the natural beauty of New Mexico than to be surrounded by exceptional wildlife, inspiring mountain ranges and sprawling meadows with views of El Vado and the Chama river. Our Premium RV and Caravan Hook Ups are secluded and nestled amongst trees with mountain views. The lots are spacious, pull through lots. Campground amenities include a store offering wood, ice, snacks, fishing license, bait, EV Charger. 

SECRET GLAMPING SITE

The glamping site is in a secret area on 1 and 2/3 acres with a pool and hot tub. We have two rooms in the house and a casita and some campers on the property adorned with Ed Haddaway's sculpture. There is a campfire and hamocks to relax in. There is a lovely outdoor hot water shower. Or you may use the shower in the main home which is just steps away from the glamping site. People love to hang out on the porch as well. There is electricity in the tent to plug in laptops and phones.

Botanical Beauty

Gourmet Breakfast and Social Hour Included! Wildlife is always present and the creek in front of the property is a great place to view many birds and alligators. Multiple ecosystems are present on this five acre property. There are trails to meander and trees to meet. I taught environmental education for many years. My goal is to share the beauty of nature’s bounty and help people reconnect. I am also a cerified advanced sommelier. I can share native knowledge of flora/fauna and wine!

Camping & Recreational Use

Nice 5+ acre lot in the Rio Grande Ranches Subdivision of Costilla County, Colorado. At an elevation around 7500 feet the air is clean and the skies are bright. Great roads make these lots easily accessible at all times. The Lobato Bridge, over the Rio Grande River, is the southern most crossing over the river in Colorado and is just a few miles to the southwest. Use these lots for recreation, to camp, or just enjoy some peace and quiet away from it all. Your options are limitless

1–2 Person Luxury Bell Tent Glamping at Tico Time River Resort. Stay in a preset 16’x16’ bell tent in the Magical Forest with overhead light, deluxe rug, side table, chairs, and a queen bed with bedding and pillows. Includes limited 110-volt power for lights and small devices. Enjoy resort amenities like swimming ponds, waterslides, paddleboards, disc golf, volleyball, river access, and bonfire areas. 2-night minimum. Shuttle provided. Extra guests $15/night. No dogs.

You’ll be greeted by Gus the Goat and a beautiful breeze to refresh from your travels. This stay is a BYOT. Bring your own tent. We provide a pad to rest atop while you camp in your tent. This camp is 420 friendly and pet friendly.

Do you enjoy nature and a night under the stars but don’t like to totally rough it. Our camp is designed for you. A New Mexico camping experience where remote camping meets simplicity just minutes up the road from Navajo Lake Marina. We offer a base camp with some of the comforts of home wrapped in a tent or tiny cabin. We set you up so you just have to show up.

Grassy Camp Site 2

Come camp on the grassy lawn of our riverside bank. Enjoy river frolicking during the day and stargazing at night. Camp amenities include an outdoor hot shower, outdoor kitchen with gas grill and cold tap sink, screened in gazebo with a propane fireplace, a clean outhouse, yoga/meditation yurt, water/electric posts and wifi throughout the property.
