We recommend having a car while visiting Prince Edward Island. There is limited public transport available in Eastern PEI.

Take the kayaks, peddle boat or canoe and explore the lake or enjoy a day at Ski Wentworth, come back to warm up and roast marshmallows by the fire (wood provided) then lounge in the gazebo and top it all off with a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Lots of trails for walking, hiking or snowshoeing. Located just 16km from Ski Wentworth and 18km from the charming village of Tatamagouche.

The Woodland Hive is a four-season geodesic glamping dome and outdoor Nordic spa located in a private getaway surrounded by forest on a hobby farm and apiary. The space has an outdoor cooking area with a barbecue, chiminea and yard. Included is a forest spa experience. Soak all of your stress away in the cedar hot tub and relax in the cedar wood-fired sauna. It’s a perfect escape outside of the city, but still close to several attractions along the Fundy coast. Here your most difficult decision will be taking your coffee on porch swing or rooftop, while birds sing & eagles soar.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.
