A trail from the back deck will lead you down to the bank of the emerald waters of the McKenzie River. The McKenzie River Trail parallels the property, and is accessed from the private road to the cabin. The property has a campground setting, with river and forest views.

Access nature via our SMALL 2 bedroom, 1 bath house, the ideal base for year round recreation on the Willamette National Forest. Access recreation in all directions: Ride bikes from the house, roll down to Cog Wild for a shuttle, stroll Uptown for food & beverage, soak in Mc Credie hot springs 10 miles east, ski at Willamette 30 miles east, view Salt Creek Falls and so much more.

The Red Door Retreat is part of Our Shangra la LLC. We overlook the Circle Bar Golf course. Quiet, water features on four sides. 6 month creek flows into the North Fork of the Willamette. We've been busy renovating the house and can't wait to share it with you!

It is about 2 miles from both Oakridge and Westfir which makes it convenient for mountain bike riding, hiking, golfing and dining out. There are both Forest Service Trails and game trails near the cabin. The cabin is rustic with modern conveniences. Weekly discount is $500.00
