Italiensk pizza sted 5 minutter unna. Det tar 5 minutter å gå til bussen som korresponderer med båten til Oslo, Aker Brygge. Med spaserturen tar reisen til byen ca 50 minutter.

Steinhyttene på Kastad gård ligger usjenert til i fantastiske naturomgivelser. Hytta i røysa har som de andre hyttene fantastisk utsikt over Mjøsa og Kastadtjernet. Her kan du koble helt av og våkne til en deilig frokostkurv med nystekte croissanter. Passer for 2 personer. Røysa er en en av 3 steinhytter på gården. De andre to er Skogen og Åkeren. Rolig, nydelig og åpent skogsterreng med kort avstand til fiske-/bademuligheter - kun 150meter fra Gudbrandslågen. Flotte stier i området. 4km fra Dombås sentrum. Det er bilvei frem til annekset.
