Beauty, luxurious comfort, and cozy charm combine in this 1780s farm house nestled between mountains and the fertile Williams River valley. Snuggle into your queen bed, enjoy an espresso in the library, skate on our private rink, or XC ski, snowshoe and stroll along the fields, forests, and river. A delicious farm breakfast featuring local seasonal foods is served daily. We strive to reduce our carbon footprint with solar. The suite includes a "nook" with a 2nd bed and convertible twin.

Cozy and Quiet Suite by the Mountains

Cozy up next to the fire after a long day on the slopes. This open concept suite has a large private bathroom, closet + plenty of storage for your gear, queen size pullout couch, futon, queen bed, TV, dinner table, breakfast corner with a microwave and coffeemaker. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably. Separate private entrance. Under 22 minutes to Killington, under 15 minutes to Pico and 8 minutes to downtown restaurants, bars, and groceries in Rutland.

The Governor's Inn - Sally's Room

Sally's room is named after Governor Stickney's maternal grandmother, Sarah (Sally) Woodbury. The room on the third floor of the Inn features a king-size bed which can be changed into two twin beds, if you let us know in advance.

The Governor's Inn - Abigail's Room

Abigail's Room is on the second floor of the building towards the rear. It is named after a great-aunt of Governor Stickney, the sister of his paternal grandfather. This room features a full-size four poster-bed.
