I have remodeled my home to create a luxurious vacation rental space for two. The rental space offers privacy and has all of the amenities you will need and to relax and enjoy your stay.

This off the grid 16 foot yurt has two views of the Shelldrake river and is perfect for the outdoor enthusiasts to escape from it all. Lots to do locally with Tehquamenon falls 35 minutes away, 30 minutes to whitefish point and 20 minutes to the town of Paradise down a sandy 4.7 mile two track. 4 wheel drive required! The Husky Hut-Pet Friendly, Remote, Private.

The Husky Hut is an adorable tiny home located on 10 private acres. It’s located on a well maintained gravel road with plenty of parking. This is perfect if you are looking to “camp” without the hassle of a tent and other equipment. It’s extremely private; there is no light pollution and the stars are magnificent. The cabin sleeps two guests. This is truly off-grid; no power or running water. There is a sled dog kennel nearby so expect to hear the “neighbors” during feeding time!

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.
