It should be noted that, taking into account that the two floors are connected by an interior staircase, it is not advisable for families with young children. It also has a totally unobstructed view of the bays and parishes of the beautiful and indented north coast of Pico on your left.The interior space, in open spacestyle ,is modern and relaxed sophisticated, with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room. As if that were not enough, there is an additional treat: on the left side you will experience a sunset of those surreal and sublime - perfect and unforgettable. All rooms with a view and the living room with ceiling-to-floor glass sliding doors that open the interior to the exterior. Bearing in mind that Casa do Ilhéu is on a slope, it is not recommended for people with motor difficulties and small children. Acerca de 4 km para Norte, a partir da cidade da Horta, fica a Praia do Almoxarife. No espaço " a moagem" há vida em cada recanto, no jardim existe uma cisterna d' água e uma eira. Apresenta uma arquitetura de traça tradicional, que remonta ao início do século passado. N' a moagem pratica-se uma filosofia com base no tradicional e sustentável. É constituído por: apartamento, jardim, atelier de artesanato, quinta com animais, hortícolas, frutícolas e sementes de variedades tradicionais.

This tradicional stone house rightly bears the name "Casa Vista Fantástica". Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The rooms go up to the roof and convey a great feeling of space. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

Quinta do Torcaz is a 5 apartments family project especially meant for families, couples or groups of friends who want to enjoy an authentic Azorean experience. At Quinta do Torcaz we preserve a quiet and bucolic environment with our beautiful garden and orchard. We also organize tours to show you the charming beauty of Faial Island. The minimum age for our guests is 12 years old, documents such as a passport will be requested to confirm age.
