The tide is in two thirds of the time, ideal for birdwatchers, paddle boarders etc. The Old Tram road below forms part of the minerals track (with cycle hire) to the north coast. Situated on a working sheep farm it is a wonderful location for nature lovers - you can spot pheasants, foxes, badgers, owls, ravens, buzzards and of course sheep!! We have a whole host of chickens and ducks here on the farm so fresh eggs are a must! The local pub offers excellent food and is a short walk away. A wonderful hidden gem where you escape all the pressures of life.

This is a wonderfully convenient place to stay, close to Truro and Falmouth. A short walk will take you to the sea at Point Quay, where you can swim or launch a kayak or boat. There are lovely walks nearby and you can cycle along the Bissoe Trail from here to the north Cornish coast. Mooringside has a courtyard garden which is a real sun trap.
