You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Enjoy wildlife, kayaking, fishing, campfires, horses, hiking and games. We also have a sauna and a hot tub available on the premises There is Roku TV and WIFI in the cabin. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the swing or rocking chairs and listen to the night sounds or chat with friends. You can also enjoy a campfire and cook over the open fire on our tripod grill. We have 2 other cabins and our cozy apartment listed.

The Rebel Lodge is a fully restored historic brick building located in the heart of James Dean's hometown. lt is right across the street from the James Dean Museum, just around the corner from Main street, and only blocks from The James Dean Gallery. The building will sleep 4-5 with a comfy double bed, a pull out sofa and an additional sofa. It is decorated with fun mid century furniture and decor. Everything is freshly up to date with new furnace, & air conditioning. Please enjoy your stay!

Wifi & Roku with Guest Mode provided. Self check-in is super easy! A short walk to the river gives you nautical wildlife . Restaurants, Walmart, grocery stores within 1-3 miles. Cozy three room studio just one block from the center of town. Within walking distance to the library, courthouse, museum, and several good restaurants and antique shops. Off the street parking right outside your door. Kitchen contains toaster, coffee maker, microwave and a small fridge containing bottled water. Considering our current environment, you can rest assured our studio is sanitized after each guest as well as linens and bedding. We do request that you do not bring pets.

Peru, Indiana, is know for its Cole Porter Festival and Circus City Festival as well as Grissom Air Force Base and Miami County Museums. We are a mile from the entrance of the Nickel Plate Bicycle Trail that runs north 20 miles to Rochester and south 20 miles to Kokomo.

Also has a beautiful outdoor seating area with grilling area and bird watching at the pond. Minimal kitchen/cooking area but a full size shower and dry flush toilet (waterless, but not smelly).
