Getaway and enjoy this New fully furnished cottage style home complete with new queen beds, hardwood floors on a beautiful private .50 acre lot. Listen to the small waterfall and catch a peak of the local deer sipping from our backyard stream as you enjoy your morning cup of joe on the balcony. Then take a ride into downtown Brevard to hit the local eats and shops. Pisgah Forest is centrally located to Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest, Downtown Brevard and a variety of breweries.

Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Reconnect with nature in this off grid wild mountain setting. 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive access only. AWD SUBARUS get up just fine! Steep gravel road. There is 2 wheel drive parking space available with a steep 1/2 mile hike to the cabin. If we are close by we could arrange a shuttle… Bring your own sheets, pillow cases and towels. Grill out, start a campfire or just relax in the hammock. Nightlife, food, coffee and breweries in Asheville and Black mountain are 15 minutes away. It's an hour to Great Smokey Mountains National Park!
