Take it easy and relax....a winding dirt path leads up to the cabin’s rustic porch, where a pair of wooden rocking chairs invite visitors to sit and soak in the breathtaking view of the sunset reflecting the sky’s shifting hues. At night, the stars shine brilliantly overhead, unobstructed by city lights, while the distant hoot of an owl adds to the peaceful ambiance. A firepit nearby provides warmth and a cozy spot for quiet evenings spent under a blanket of stars... 15 min. drive to Jamesport.

The Benton House

The Rustic Roan Retreat - Barndo

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars at The Rustic Roan Retreat, a bougie barndominium, that sits in the country on a peaceful piece of land filled with horses, ponds, and wildlife. Bring your pole and fish our stocked pond, relax by the fire and have s'mores, take in the serene landscape. Got horses? We have a place for them too! The AirBnB is attached to the barn with several horse stalls and and indoor riding arena! We are also just a couple miles from Ray Rocks UTV/ATV park!

Magical tree house nestled among oaks on our beautiful 200-acre national park-esque ranch fringed in gorgeous limestone boulders surrounding a spring-fed 15-acre private lake with outdoor living area and sand beach. Great for swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and excellent fishing. We are 5 minutes from downtown Excelsior Springs, Excelsior Springs Golf Course and 3EX municipal airport. We live on-site and will generally be available throughout your stay should you need or desire.

Originally built as The Buckley Hotel, this historic building has been brought back to life. While retaining the features that makes this home so beautiful and reflective of its time, we have brought in modern amenities that insure a comfortable stay while in the heart of Excelsior Springs. Peaceful unique place in the valley where a rooster crow is all you will hear in the morning. Drink coffee on a private deck that overlooks the koi pond with a peaceful fountain. Short drive to I-435 and I-35. About half hour drive to Royals and Chiefs stadiums, downtown KC and Kansas speedway! Minutes from the bike and walking trails that circle Smithville Lake! Caution- steep narrow stairs inside. Please use the outside stairs to carry luggage inside to the bedroom quarters.

This small town is located not far from it all, just an hour North of Kansas City and 20 minutes from Saint Joseph, right between Interstates 29 and 35! Located on the ground floor with parking right outside the door on Main Street, this is a lovely place to stay. We also have plenty of extra parking next door. A nice park only a couple of blocks away. The bathroom features a walk-in shower and a full-size washer and dryer. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need!

Main Street Inn

The Main Street Inn is a darling little house right on the sleepy main street of Hamilton. You can see the Missouri Star Quilt Company from the front porch, which is important when you need that one last yard of fabric to finish your project. This is the creative project of Jenny and Ron Doan. We've put a lot of thought into making this a peaceful, convenient spot for quilters and creatives to enjoy.
