6 bed Edinburgh chalet only minutes from beach

Our modern Chalet sits in the Haven Resort at Seton Sands in a quiet discrete spot, very close to reception and all the amenities. There is a double bedroom with ensuite and two twin bedrooms. We have a large lounge area with comfortable seating for up to 6 people. There is free parking and a local bus service going right to the heart of Edinburgh. Passes can be purchased to use all the facilities of the Haven Resort, including swimming pools, restaurants and bars. Free wifi within the resort.

Superbly located just 30 minutes’ drive from historic Edinburgh, this is a perfect base for enjoying this wonderful region. The park also holds the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. Enjoy this peaceful, stylish space - a newly renovated artist-designed apartment set within an historic 200 year old townhouse, 50 yards from Portobello beach - Edinburgh’s famously fashionable seaside. You’re also only 15 minutes from the city centre by car and there’s plentiful public transport. Portobello is a thriving, highly desirable neighbourhood, with lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and independent shops. Our apartment has its own patio with views onto a park and the sea.

This is ideal for couples and families alike with a king size bed in the master room, twin room and Sofa bed in the living room. Furry friends are made most welcome and will enjoy the warmth of the AGA as much as you'll enjoy cooking on it. Close enough to explore Edinburgh and enjoy all that East Lothian has to offer.

Welcome to No. 20, The High Street, Cockenzie! This idyllic fisherman’s cottage dates back to the 17th-century. It is the perfect holiday retreat for families, walkers on the John Muir Way - or simply for a romantic getaway. The views are spectacular. The cottage directly faces the sandy beach, a perfect little rocky cove, and the sea beyond. The sunsets are breath-taking and you may even glimpse dolphins and seals in their natural habitat.

Howden Cottage

Relax in our beautiful cottage with fantastic views, log burning stove, super king size bed and large walk in shower. Whether you want to be active or just relax, Howden Cottage is a great base to enjoy all the delights of East Lothian. If you want a trip to Edinburgh it's about a 45 minute drive or you can drive to the local station - about 8 minutes away and take the train which is 25 minutes. Parking at the station is free.

Unique restored historic WW1 gun emplacement complex situated on a high view point with a panoramic view across the water to Edinburgh and directly overlooking the lconic Forth Rail Bridge in the historic village of North Queensferry This king bed bunker is stylishly decorated and hosts a pool table and log burner. 25 minutes into Edinburgh City Centre on the train. 35 minutes to Murray field Stadium on the train and tram.
