There are good pub/restaurants in the nearby local villages and Shrewsbury and Welshpool , Lake Vyrnwy, Snowdonia.. are within easy driving distance.

The Timber Cabin in the Forest Garden is newly available from August 2020! This stunning 'tiny house' has everything you may need - a real log burning stove, electric radiator, mains power, a charming and amusing 'bucket shower', fridge freezer, gas hob, toaster and kettle! The 'Poo with a view' composting loo is a minutes' walk from the cabin as is the exhilarating plunge pool with mini waterfall for 'wild swimming/bathing' enthusiasts! Well insulated and secluded for an idyllic retreat :)

There are starry night skies and absolutely no hum of traffic. Across the valley you’ll see an ancient standing stone, Carreg y Noddfa, the Stone of Sanctuary. This area has been known as a sanctuary for centuries, and so it remains.

After exploring the many walks that are available locally and afar, come back to your very own private lodge and relax in the hot tub on the wrap around decking whilst enjoying the beautiful sunset. An additional charge of £15 per stay is to be added for the use of the Hot Tub to cover running costs as 50% of our guests do not make use of it.
