Our cozy yurt is located within minutes of amazing, hiking, biking, skiing, breweries and much more! Relax around the fire while listening to our resident owls or stare up at the stars through the dome. We're centrally located to some of the best hiking and swimming skiing in Central Vermont. Mt Abe and Bartlett's Falls are the closest options. We're also close to civilization with several towns close by to explore for food, drink, art, and shopping. This classic Vermont farm estate has everything that description implies: end-of-the-road privacy with breathtaking views, where the only sound is the wind rustling through the leaves. The manicured gardens, stone walls and quaint but luxurious home seem plucked from classic American folklore. Guests can drink their morning coffee while soaking in views of rolling pastures and forested hills, and spend their days exploring the property's trails, and the beautiful towns and countryside nearby.

Originally built in 1817 by the Macintosh Family, our family farm is steeped in historical beauty. Nestled in the hills of Bethel, we live in an area rich with skilled farmers, shepherds, cheese makers, and artists. We make apple cider from our orchard, raise chickens, make maple syrup, and grow produce for our family. Our home is surrounded by far reaching views, big skies and lush countryside. Skiing, snow biking 10 minutes away at Middlebury Snow Bowl and Rikert crosscountry. Sugarbush and Killington half hour drive. Snowshoeing and hiking right behind house in the Green Mountain National Forest. Easy drive to river swimming holes and lakes. Excellent restaurants in Waitsfield and Middlebury - about half hour. Good restaurant, cafe, small grocery store, in Rochester, 4 miles. Great location, beautiful views, lovely little house, totally private, romantic.

Contactless check-in. Cozy guest house, cabin-studio-getaway; enjoy the sounds of a stream outside the window (next to the bed). Views of a larger brook below. The"Cabin"is nestled in the trees giving a feeling of floating above the brook below. The interior is decorated w/family heirlooms gathered from around the country. Nothing fancy, just a cozy simple getaway. 3.25 mi from town. Choose from a variety of activities in town or hop on nearby trails. NO PETS ALLOWED.

Cabin in the Woods

This cozy cabin is on a well maintained town (dirt) road a short walk to Blueberry Lake (on National Forest land, non-motorized) and is within 15 minutes of Breadloaf Wilderness Area, Sugarbush Ski Resort, Mad River Glen Ski Area, restaurants and dining, arts and crafts, sports and specialty shops. It's wooded, quiet, has a light open feeling inside.
