Entire cabin steps from a quiet beach, in the peaceful cabin area of Sylvan Lake. Take the boardwalk to our downtown restaurants, children's parks, and local shops! Use our paddle boards and beach gear to experience the lake. Enjoy our firepit, front and back decks, and private enclosed backyard. Parking provided conveniently out front. From our location you can walk anywhere and save the parking fees. Our cozy cabin is equipped with all the necessities you need for a wonderful stay at the lake!

The Getaway

This cabin is titled The Getaway as it can serve as a place where you can truly escape a busy life to truly take a break. Only 1/2 a block from the beach and about one kilometer from the busiest hub of Lakeshore Drive, you can park your car in the driveway, and explore on foot. Stay busy with board and lawn games, books, a fire pit, and a hot tub and enjoying the beautiful garden are just a few things to do without leaving The Getaway. Located in Whispering Pines on Pine Lake, our cozy park model offers breathtaking views and all the comforts of home. The historic Rosebud Cafe

Natural beauty surrounds this historic getaway. The sunrises from here are unrivalled along with stunning expansive views. The building has evolved from a teacherage to a grain bin to a Cafe & now the tiny guesthouse you see. Rustic in nature with separate outdoor composting toilet (see pics for throne room interior!) & outdoor shower (summer only). Numerous walking trails on the 160acres double for XC skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Property is shared with a cabin, campsites and a treehouse.

Our cabin is a small walk away from the public beach, with lake views from the driveway. The views of the calm lake in the morning are spectacular, and there are some fantastic restaurants and breweries in the neighbourhood.

Cabin #3 Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful peaceful setting just 10 minutes east of Red Deer! There are 3 cabins on the property, so be sure you head to Cabin #3! Parking is just along the tree line closest to the cabins. - NEW SHOWER/TOILET up the hill from the cabins! Double white doors around the corner with SMALL windows. NO TOILET INSIDE THE CABIN.

Enjoy the sounds of nature overlooking a beautiful 90 acre waterfowl oasis, suitable for kayaking, canoeing, snow shoeing or cross country skiing. Not suitable for swimming.
