Footbridge Farm Cabin

Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

Nature’s Nest

Unwind and immerse yourself in nature at this cozy cabin overlooking Timber Coulee Creek. Large living room windows and a spacious deck provide you with a bird’s eye view of the rippling river and many types of wild life. Deer amble through the property; eagles soar and keep an eagle eye on everything. Turkeys, squirrels, coons, and myriad of birds go about their business in this serene environment. Little House on the Pretty(LHP) is part of Sittin Pretty Farm. LHP is tucked into the woods giving a place to retreat and restore. The home is finely crafted embodying a simple elegance and character of the Driftless locale. Once inside, a sense of marvel and serenity are sure make heartfelt memories. We are six miles from Viroqua and nestled among Amish Paradise with several neighboring Amish farms. In season the Amish have roadside vegetable stands where you can purchase veggies and pie!

Nestled in the beautiful bluff country of SE Mn. THE HIDING PLACE is the perfect cozy retreat when you want to relax, reconnect & recharge! This private cottage sits on a 43 acre property, has a King sz. bed, fireplace, kitchenette, large deck, fire pit and more! Enjoy the onsite wooded hiking trails, golf across the highway at Ferndale Golf Club, enjoy the SE Mn. biking trail or tube/canoe/kayak the Root River- both only 2 miles away. Snowmobilers-jump right on the trail from the property!

Clear your mind at this modern, fully furnished cabin in heart of the Driftless region of MN, WI, and IA. Built in 2016, this truly unique space has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. There is plenty of space inside the cabin. The cabin contains two private rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with a queen bed. In the summer months there is also opportunity to camp, with 4 acres of luscious green space + some woodlands! Indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit, and Traeger grill!

Relax into the slower pace of river life. We are located on a laid back street where everyone is ready with a friendly wave or a driveway chat. The boat landing is just a mile away. The house is stylish and comfortable. We hope to provide our guest with whatever the need for a few days away. We are in a high PFAs area so bottled water is provided for guest consumption. La Crosse is super close to enjoy skiing/snowboarding. Goose Island is 5 minutes away. Great spot for bird watching, fishing, kayaking, boat launches, hiking or frisbee golf. Pets are welcome. Seating outside, firepit (bring your own firewood), swingset and sandbox for little ones. Also has your very own bar & TV. FYI. Property is by the rail road tracks.
