A forty-five minute drive away from Reykjavík, in the beautiful fjord Hvalfjörður and by the lake Meðalfellsvatn, the cottage Sólvellir is located. The environment is very beautiful and can be enjoyed in many hike trail around the surrounding area. In Only a half hour walk is up to a very beautiful waterfall called Helgufoss. There is also a lot of experiences that can be accessed here in the area such as horse riding, electric biking and hiking.
