Dear Caro, we enjoyed our days in this fabulous villa a lot. Waking up in the morning and having this great ocean view was one of the best things of our stay. The villa is very comfortable for a large family and you can spend your holiday in a luxurious and comfortable way. The huge pool was a pleasure for our children and us. It was also great to have your restaurant and the delicious pizza around - but it although was great to cook for ourselves in this spacious kitchen. We are still speechless - it was fantastic. Media Luna is situated in a security patrolled community of Roma Del Mar which is comprised of some 27 villas. The sun shines all the time and the view is spectacular. Pictures of the villa do not do it justice. The infinity pool looks out onto the Bay of Nicoya where local fishermen are seen along with the ferry that transports you to Punteranas - the city across the bay. Three days did not allow us to fully enjoy the beautiful area but has enticed us to return again to hopefully rent this lovely, well furnished home and get to know the area better. Both English and Spanish are spoken with moderate fluency. Upon arrival at our Villa were were greeted with a welcome note and a fruit basket. This was so appreciated and much enjoyed. Lots of information on day trips. (Zip lining , alligator tours, boat charters, resident howler monkeys , monkey tours, coffee tours and national park tours. ) Onsite Convenience store is well stocked with good hours of operation. An onsite restaurant -'Aroma ' - is open five days a week with a special weekly menu feature ( Closed Tuesday and Wednesday) . This Italian Pasta and Pizza restaurant is pictured beside the beach located in the community of Roma Del Mar. The meals are wonderful and the staff always pleasant with English spoken .
