Our stay in Crucoli was very picturesque. The house seemed very old, and a bit desolate. The views were beautiful and the village itself was very impressive. Very narrow alleys (buckle up, car drivers!) and steep stairs with stunning views between the walls. At night you only hear the cows and dogs, and see the lights in the neighbouring villages.
There is a restaurant, a bar, and a small store with basics (fruit, vegetables, pasta) in the village. The sea is just a 15 min winding road away.
Inside the house was very simple. Just some basic furniture.
We didn't use the pool that was located in another part of the village.
We were happy to bring groceries because there was nothing in the fridge. Maybe we're a bit spoiled by having water and fruits in every Airbnb accommodation.
If you like to taste what the region has to offer, go to Aquila d'Oro (Cirò) or Max (Cirò Marina) and give the chefs carte blanche!
Eleonora and her father were very helpful, the communication was excellent and efficient! We were looking for a corkscrew at 10 pm and they quickly brought one!
